Original work
Word-only
For the word-only advertisement, I decided to have a little fun with it. I drew inspiration from the infamous "Covfefe" tweet from former President Donald Trump that became a viral Internet meme during his term. The message suggest that Dunkin' is the trump card of your or someone else's day. I colored the "Covfefe" brown for coffee color and used the company's accent color to highlight where the reference came from. Since most of Dunkin's background is white, I made mine as well.
Standard Ad
Sticking with the Dunkin' theme, I made it to where the advertisement is agreeing with what the viewer is possibly thinking. They look at the coffee, see that it's looks good, think that they could use one right now, and then the advertisement complements that thought process. Simple yet effective.
Revised Work
I added a matching color border around the “word only” version. I feel like this help contain the advertisement, whereas the last one could make your eyes looks for it if it was on a regular white paper.
For the standard ad, I changed the top line to “ Rough Morning?”. I think this is more simplified, less cocky and will help draw in customers who sympathies with the messaged asked/answered. I also corrected a grammar error with “earned”.
